The entire Scofield team is amazing. We hired them to create a variety of videos for us, from product explainer videos to short form digital advertising videos. They helped with scripting and design, took the time to walk us through options and get our feedback, and were quick to turn around edits. After our initial engagement was over, we initiated a retainer agreement as well as other project based agreements, and will continue to do so.

I worked with SolidLine to produce a rather complex project. I needed a finished product that would total about 45 minutes but they needed to be in smaller chunks to present to my audience. Despite the peculiarity of the project, SolidLine did a great job asking the right questions and producing something I'm extremely proud of. Our nonprofit organization hired Funnelbox to film a multi-day project (including round table discussions, 1:1 interviews, and intimate group conversations) for the purpose of producing a teaser video for an academic program. Filming, production, and edits spanned months, and we are thankful to have had such a capable, artful, and professional partner in Funnelbox. Subject matter for our project was often dense and communicated without much context or review, but the FBX team had no trouble helping us map out an intellectual and narrative roadmap for our project. And during the scriptwriting and drafting process, we were surprised by the team’s ability to connect footage from diverse interviews and sessions into a cogent and gripping story. As we provided feedback on narrative, images, and the general feel, FBX accurately reflected our wishes in updated drafts, and, maybe more importantly, advised us when our preferences or ideas might muddy the video’s flow or detract from the viewer experience. The final product is a compelling and thoughtful account of our academic field and was much enjoyed by all who participated in filming. We would be more than happy to work with Funnelbox again.

Most recently, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Flightless Bird Creative on the production of a documentary film and on the editing of an original narrative short film. Both experiences were thoughtfully organized, on schedule, professional and fun. We especially are drawn to Flightless Bird's care and positive dynamic. I had the fantastic pleasure of working with the Nametag guys on a branded content project. They are the easiest team to work with and they made me look really good in my role. The final product was high-end and elevated the brand. Would use them in a heartbeat if another opportunity comes up!!

We came to them with a clear and specific requirement. We have a video that we want to reproducer at higher quality and with proper exposure. We had several discussions regarding this requirement and even emphasized its importance. The firm assured us that a white background would not be an issue. Upon receiving the final product, we were extremely disappointed to find that the background was not solid white as agreed upon, and the overall video quality was poor. A teenage with a phone would have done a better job. In response to our concerns about the video's quality, the firm defended their work by stating that our expectations for a perfectly solid white background, a properly exposed scene, and a high-quality video were unreasonable. They claimed that achieving such a level of precision was not feasible, and would require a higher budget. This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect the level of service we expected from a professional company. We trusted them with our project and provided clear instructions, only to be met with a lack of attention to detail and refusal to correct their mistakes. They refused to reshoot the video or issue a refund. We hope that sharing this negative experience will serve as a cautionary tale for others considering this video production firm. We encourage them to take client expectations seriously, improve their attention to detail, and find ways to deliver on agreed-upon requirements.
