As the Executive decision maker for a small business in Denver, I've found that outsourcing SEO duties is imperative, especially when you have made significant changes to your online presence. Social SEO, formerly Pikes Peak SEO has been fantastic to work with. We have seen growth, and significant increases in organic traffic for most of the time we've used Social SEO. We've had several contacts there and all have been very professional. My only reason for not leaving five stars is that in our three or so years of service, we've had four different contacts working on our account. Don't get me wrong, the service is still worth it, and all of the Account Managers have been great, but it is hard to start over with a new contact and explain your business needs, website details, etc to a new person every six months to a year. There was a period of time (with one Account Manager) that nothing really seemed to be happening in terms of our website and feedback. In all honesty, I think that particular contact, though she was always very friendly and professional on the phone, was just too busy to take the time to do a lot with our account. I can tell that Social SEO is growing, as they have movement internally with their staff and have even promoted one of our Account Managers (which is why we no longer work with her). They are obviously doing something right. Our current AM is excellent so far--very responsive, and pays attention to details. Listen people, you're never going to find a perfect SEO vendor, but if you want to gain in organic traffic, conversions, and want a team of people who actually know what they are doing, give these guys a try!

Overall it was a great experience, I highly recommend their services, and have to many business associates, and even my own Dad for his business. Unfortunately M16 was not the first company we went with or the second, which turned out to be a very expensive mistake with others that we tried before finding them. I highly suggest that before hiring Funnel Boost Media, you research what "Black Hat" SEO tactics are, their implications, and consequences. Then, make a decision if you are okay with paying a company to utilize such services. I hired FBM late last year, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. - FBM stole content from a competitor's website and delivered it to me as their own work. Upon discovering this, I requested a refund, but they were unwilling to oblige. - FBM implemented backlinks to my website that are low quality, low authority, and have no domain traffic. This directly violates our contract. These backlinks are representative of the types found in "Black Hat" SEO tactics, coming from low authority, "fake" websites with strange URLs filled with spam content and posts. Some examples include: https://babelite.com/ https://hasstrollcrashedyet.com/ https://bhajanasampradaya.com/ https://tds-esport.com/ One SEO company told me, "The quality of links is very poor and is coming from sites that receive no traffic but also have very low domain ratings." - My website has zero keyword rankings. - My website has had zero organic traffic throughout our partnership. I hired two separate SEO companies to conduct a full audit of my domain, and they concluded that no real SEO work had been done and urged me to request a refund. "It is evident that no substantial search engine optimization (SEO) efforts have been implemented to enhance its rankings on Google." Despite relaying all my findings and providing evidence to support my claims, FBM was unwilling to offer a refund, despite failing to deliver the work and services outlined in our SEO Contract Agreement. I heard this over and over from our new hires. When any issues arise, it is attended to ASAP. - Flex work hours are great along with work from home days. - A great huge office with lots of perks. (loaded snack bar, amazing coffee machine and tea selection, free lunches 2-3 times per month, shuffleboard and great outside patio) - There is usually a fun event each month whether it's a happy hour, social event, padres game, day at the track, in addition to great holiday and anniversary parties. - Management also does a great job of hiring amazing people that are great to work with. We hired Dedicated Developers to help us build and design both hardware GPS sensors used in the transportation industry as well as the web application and mobile apps to monitor the sensors. The sensors connect the transportation sector to the Internet of Things (IoT). It was challenging to find developers that had the complete package of skills we needed for this project. Lots of companies had the software skills, but not very many had the hardware skills. We were thrilled when we found Dedicated Developers, because they were able to do both the hardware and software designing for us. The hardware they created are sensors used to monitor a wide variety of things for the transport industry. The sensors can monitor speed, acceleration, elevation, breakdown, GPS route coordinates, and then transmit all the data through the cellular network. Our clients can then see all the data points within the centralized application control panel to fully monitor their cargo. They did a lot of initial research and were able to suggest hardware components and sensors that would be the best configurations that would reduce the costs during mass production. They helped us figure out the best components that are reliable, durable and cost effective, so the total hard costs for each finished sensor goes down, and profits go up. They were able to bring the total cost of each unit down by 21%. They were creative while building the prototype sensors, which they were able to do quickly within a couple months. The software they created to run and monitor the sensors uses the latest cutting-edge technology, and connects our industry to the Internet of Things, which is fast, efficient, responsive and very well designed. The hardware sensors they created for us are top notch, and the monitoring software to run and monitor them has been very well received by our clients. It’s been able to make our company a cutting edge leader in our industry.

We contracted with CTR+ALT Digital to create several animated videos for both promotions and trade shows and also our corporate video which allowed us the opportunity to tell our story. They have a knowledgeable and professional team members that made our VOI team feel at ease every step of the way.We were thrilled with the end results and already have new video concepts in process. Sometimes managing my team here generated more changes than were allowed so it would be nice to have a few more change rounds to arrive at the final. Sometimes two rounds just is not enough...most of the time it is plenty. Overall working with the CTR+ALT Digital team was easy and professional. We've enjoyed building our YouTube channel to house the videos and our most important trade show was a multimedia success! 3 Media Web was the best digital media solution we could've hoped for. What we like most is that their team is smaller, which means they can develop great working relationships with us and also respond to our needs efficiently. But they're also very effective at leveraging their team to support us in a range of major projects from web design to launch to ongoing digital strategies, if we needed. In case it's not obvious, they also did it well. Their ability to customize project scopes, wherever we needed to go, has been critical to our evolving brand identity and our budget. In 3 Media we have a team we know and can rely on, with the impact of a large media firm. I don't know if you could want anything more.

They did not help us achieve anything. They tanked performance for currently running campaigns, and any new campaigns they launched did not perform well. They were included in our RFP process because they claimed to have expertise in both B2B marketing and Healthcare Tech marketing. We quickly realized they had neither. Instead of working to optimize campaigns, they continued to increase the target cost per acquisition, causing the quality score of one long-running successful campaign to drop from 8/10 to 2/10 and increasing our CPA of $20 to over $300. They would ask us for advice on how to optimize campaigns in our weekly calls. We handed over a massive amount of reading materials. Everything they asked for - buyer personas, messaging framework, competitive intel. It seemed like they never bothered to read any of it because, after nine months of working with us, they still didn't understand our audiences or products. That was an issue that could have been solved with them just trying a little bit. What could not be solved was the fact they didn't know how to manage paid search campaigns. If you don't know anything about digital marketing, they might be able to fool you. Their team of paid search managers needs training, plain and simple. I had to spend several hours going through the work they did and making notes on how to fix the poor performance - that's what we hired them to do! Fortunately, we are experts in digital marketing, and we just needed people to execute the work, so we realized quickly that they were not helping our business and, in fact, making the situation worse. We did not stay with them for the entire year. They made us pay for one additional month when they didn't do any work and called it "offboarding." They also pad the hours and say they did a lot more than they actually did.

Prior to working with CVM, we worked with two other agencies, both of which expressed a lot of excitement around our story, but were not able to transform that enthusiasm into press coverage.
