I hired FBM late last year, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. - FBM stole content from a competitor's website and delivered it to me as their own work. Upon discovering this, I requested a refund, but they were unwilling to oblige. - FBM implemented backlinks to my website that are low quality, low authority, and have no domain traffic. This directly violates our contract. These backlinks are representative of the types found in "Black Hat" SEO tactics, coming from low authority, "fake" websites with strange URLs filled with spam content and posts. I heard this over and over from our new hires. When any issues arise, it is attended to ASAP. - Flex work hours are great along with work from home days. - A great huge office with lots of perks. (loaded snack bar, amazing coffee machine and tea selection, free lunches 2-3 times per month, shuffleboard and great outside patio) - There is usually a fun event each month whether it's a happy hour, social event, padres game, day at the track, in addition to great holiday and anniversary parties. - Management also does a great job of hiring amazing people that are great to work with. They were able to bring the total cost of each unit down by 21%. They were creative while building the prototype sensors, which they were able to do quickly within a couple months. Over a decade ago, I was introduced to Marina over a training call while in graduate school. At the time, I had just concluded studies in search engine optimization and mobile marketing and commerce. During the training, I was overawe with the custom websites designs and how the needs of the customer were the nucleus to the development process. Websites were custom, not off the shelf, and budget friendly. There were no unforeseen expenditures, and the project management process insured that customers were involved and kept abreast of developments. When I decided to develop my own e-commerce site, I knew who to phone. I reached into my database, and contacted Marina. Still the pleasant erudite professional, I informed Marina about the requisite. Paul was the project manager. He did a exceedingly fine job of presiding over the development process. At times, it appeared intimidating. Nevertheless, Marina and Paul were there every step of the way. When there were questions, they had solutions and recommendations. I could not be more appeased with the final project. For website development, maintenance, and search engine optimization, there is no other company that I would endorse apart from Marina and Web Loft Designs. They do not disappoint and I have a custom website that epitomizes the brand.

They did not help us achieve anything. They tanked performance for currently running campaigns, and any new campaigns they launched did not perform well. They were included in our RFP process because they claimed to have expertise in both B2B marketing and Healthcare Tech marketing. We quickly realized they had neither. Instead of working to optimize campaigns, they continued to increase the target cost per acquisition, causing the quality score of one long-running successful campaign to drop from 8/10 to 2/10 and increasing our CPA of $20 to over $300. They would ask us for advice on how to optimize campaigns in our weekly calls. We handed over a massive amount of reading materials. Everything they asked for - buyer personas, messaging framework, competitive intel. It seemed like they never bothered to read any of it because, after nine months of working with us, they still didn't understand our audiences or products. That was an issue that could have been solved with them just trying a little bit. What could not be solved was the fact they didn't know how to manage paid search campaigns. If you don't know anything about digital marketing, they might be able to fool you. Their team of paid search managers needs training, plain and simple. I had to spend several hours going through the work they did and making notes on how to fix the poor performance - that's what we hired them to do! Fortunately, we are experts in digital marketing, and we just needed people to execute the work, so we realized quickly that they were not helping our business and, in fact, making the situation worse. We did not stay with them for the entire year. They made us pay for one additional month when they didn't do any work and called it "offboarding." They also pad the hours and say they did a lot more than they actually did.
