Overall it was a great experience, I highly recommend their services, and have to many business associates, and even my own Dad for his business. Unfortunately M16 was not the first company we went with or the second, which turned out to be a very expensive mistake with others that we tried before finding them. I definitely recommend their services! As a business owner every dollar you spend is precious, and the money you spend with them, in my experience, was very well spent. Don't waste any more time looking at other companies, these guys are great, highly recommend!

I run a software development agency. We build custom software for clients. DigitalDesign worked with us for three of our end clients. We specifically hired them to take care of the UI/UX design tasks for these customers, one being a nonprofit, the second being a financial technology company, and the third being a software company. During our work with a nonprofit, we had to recreate a whole system for the end customer to run their operations. It was essentially an internal tool for their team members to support their work for the organization. Moreover, it was a complex project that took about nine months to complete. DigitalDesign handled the UI/UX design needed for the product. Our second project was a shorter one. They had to build an onboarding form for a financial institution to onboard new clients. They refined and revamped the UI/UX flow of the form. We then built what they designed. In terms of documentation, DigitalDesign received full documentation from the first client; we contributed to it. The product was already live in the second project, and they simply worked on it. For tools, the team mainly used Figma to create designs and gather feedback from the end clients.

I hired Kobe to write content for, redesign, and redevelop our ecommerce website. Kobe provided one, initial meeting with a few people who I did not work with again. Work was begun on the project by the content writer, who began describing the design in his content, which was posted page by page on Monday.com, which does not have revision or reviewing functionality. Kobe refused to begin the project with (industry-standard) wireframes, which would have provided a simple understanding of the two types of pages and messaging placement to both my team and theirs. Kobe next provided designs, via pdfs in email (i.e. no easy reviewing capability), that looked like simple template websites with no brand feel, according to many laypersons and professional web designers (and me too of course). At this point, with less than half of the work done, I cancelled the project. Kobe unethically did not refund money for the half of the project that was unfinished.

I picked Brand and Mortar due to their reputation, reliability and known resources in the community. We signed a contract in May of 2021, with my needs heavily outlined of building an extensive website with cutting edge plugins and a custom functionality. After numerous follow-ups, they were confident they could meet my needs and we signed. It was extremely pricy, but I knew because of the functionality needed, it was needed. Once the wireframes (website outlines) were approved in October (they looked amazing), it was a contracted 9 weeks until I had my website in hand. I was so beyond ecstatic. Glad I chose Brand and Mortar to create this for us. Well, December rolls around, I want to confirm I will have the website mid January and it's confirmed! My website will be live! Well, they forward the "finished" website and it's a joke. Is is nothing as contracted and then I get told they need more time. So we wait, then the next deadline gets pushed and continues to get pushed. I couldn't wait anymore when I can see they don't have the skills to create when they agreed upon. Up until this point, I've been waiting to hear back from the owner and he won't respond to my emails. The amount I have paid, for this quickly slapped together website is beyond ridiculous. They're communication is severely lacking, the professionalism was there, but slowly dissipated once they received my money. Their marketing background is where they should focus their business when website design is clearly not their expertise yet.

My experience at Bold x Collective has been immensely knowledgeable. The staff actively conducted an effective analysis of the current social media and digital marketing trends for me to strategise my approach to my business. All the analysis was backed up with credible research that assisted in me innovating my marketing approach to my business plan. Communication and meetings was very professional and punctual. My co-founder and I were searching for a professional production company to create a two-minute sizzle video for our new consulting company. We could not have chosen better than Jeff and the Faithful Dog Digital team. We had a location and event pre-chosen and Eric, our Director of Photography, met us there and guided us through the day. This involved recording a keynote presentation, set up and interview recording and extensive B roll. Eric was insightful, skillful and articulate in his direction to get the best out of his amateur subjects. I knew looking at the raw footage we had some killer content. Next, it was back to Jeff and his outstanding post-production skills. Jeff and I collaborated on a story board, and he immediately understood the vibe I was going for with this video. Jeff expertly created a first cut using slices from all of our footage, and after another round of edits we were there. The final mix involved color correction, sound correction, filter application, background music, and intro/outro. It was executed perfectly. Altogether, it was a pleasure working with Jeff and Eric, the results were outstanding, and I really feel we got great value for our money. So much so, when I had a second smaller project, they were my first call. I highly recommend working with the Faithful Dog Digital team for all your video production needs.

Overall we gave five stars and would use them again. We were looking for high quality and their name attracted us because we were looking for a top notch video and at the end that is exactly what we got. We actually shot two videos for our company B-Causes one to reach out to non profit charities and the other to business owners, the Top Notch team were kind enough to cut up the videos into testimonials sections and shorter versions for our marketing this was a great value added service to help us in our marketing efforts.

Most recently, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Flightless Bird Creative on the production of a documentary film and on the editing of an original narrative short film. Both experiences were thoughtfully organized, on schedule, professional and fun. We especially are drawn to Flightless Bird's care and positive dynamic.
