They did not help us achieve anything. They tanked performance for currently running campaigns, and any new campaigns they launched did not perform well. They were included in our RFP process because they claimed to have expertise in both B2B marketing and Healthcare Tech marketing. We quickly realized they had neither. Instead of working to optimize campaigns, they continued to increase the target cost per acquisition, causing the quality score of one long-running successful campaign to drop from 8/10 to 2/10 and increasing our CPA of $20 to over $300. They would ask us for advice on how to optimize campaigns in our weekly calls. We handed over a massive amount of reading materials. Everything they asked for - buyer personas, messaging framework, competitive intel. It seemed like they never bothered to read any of it because, after nine months of working with us, they still didn't understand our audiences or products. That was an issue that could have been solved with them just trying a little bit. What could not be solved was the fact they didn't know how to manage paid search campaigns. If you don't know anything about digital marketing, they might be able to fool you. Their team of paid search managers needs training, plain and simple. I had to spend several hours going through the work they did and making notes on how to fix the poor performance - that's what we hired them to do! Fortunately, we are experts in digital marketing, and we just needed people to execute the work, so we realized quickly that they were not helping our business and, in fact, making the situation worse. We did not stay with them for the entire year. They made us pay for one additional month when they didn't do any work and called it "offboarding." They also pad the hours and say they did a lot more than they actually did.
