I picked Brand and Mortar due to their reputation, reliability and known resources in the community. We signed a contract in May of 2021, with my needs heavily outlined of building an extensive website with cutting edge plugins and a custom functionality. After numerous follow-ups, they were confident they could meet my needs and we signed. It was extremely pricy, but I knew because of the functionality needed, it was needed. Once the wireframes (website outlines) were approved in October (they looked amazing), it was a contracted 9 weeks until I had my website in hand. I was so beyond ecstatic. Glad I chose Brand and Mortar to create this for us. Well, December rolls around, I want to confirm I will have the website mid January and it's confirmed! My website will be live! Well, they forward the "finished" website and it's a joke. Is is nothing as contracted and then I get told they need more time. So we wait, then the next deadline gets pushed and continues to get pushed. I couldn't wait anymore when I can see they don't have the skills to create when they agreed upon. Up until this point, I've been waiting to hear back from the owner and he won't respond to my emails. The amount I have paid, for this quickly slapped together website is beyond ridiculous. They're communication is severely lacking, the professionalism was there, but slowly dissipated once they received my money. Their marketing background is where they should focus their business when website design is clearly not their expertise yet.

I began working with Twelverays with high expectations, and they appeared to be professional and internationally based, too. However, things took a downward turn. They charge $250 to on-board with their contractors- however, all the contractors regularly turn over at least once a month. I faced some obstacles in my business and marketing efforts for several months, and the main partner actually responded with what appeared to be verbal a----. I tried contacting another office in the US for help, but the links on their website to the other cities don't navigate. They also promised to give me an accounting of hours used for the slow months, but even after many months, I never received them. They provided incredibly misleading documentation to a third party when I requested help. My hope is that Twelverays would work on full disclosure and transparency issues as well as stick to the commitments they make to their clients.

The whole process for designing and developing a new visual identity was around 2 months. The process was straightforward and I had recognized their previous experience with a restaurant close to my home. It made me feel comfortable in trusting the opinions of their experts.

We’re a fintech startup in the multi-family rental industry. We were launching a mobile app for tenants to pay rent and needed help with the UI/UX for that. We’re going to be launching our beta app this month and conducting usability testing. However, we appreciate that they met all our deadlines and were always on time. They even provided us with a few extra design pieces, such as a banner for our product page in the App Store. I was impressed by how quickly they were able to come up to speed with our mission and problem. Our needs were a bit nuanced, but they were able to understand our intentions and goals for the project within a week.

My site was WAY over-priced and I could have gotten something like this for $5 on Fiverr.com. No eye for design. Do not recommend.
