Amp Up marketing helped me redesign my website and make it mobile friendly. I am very happy with the final look and feel of the website. Doug worked hard, especially on one page requiring multiple MP3 audio files to be linked in, to make the interface attractive and user friendly. Both the desktop and mobile versions are meeting my expectations. As I mentioned, Doug did struggle with that one page and needed to research ways to make that work. That is why I gave a 7 for Knowledge. I know his knowledge is now improved because the page is very nice now but I was surprised at the time with how much he struggled with that page. Both Doug and I ended up with some responsiveness issues because of other constraints so the development and my testing/feedback took longer than either of us expected. I would recommend laying out a schedule and expectations for turnaround (on both sides) with him. I also requested instructions to allow me to maintain the site. It did take a few back and forth rounds of questions and answers for me to get the full picture I expected. The instructions are now complete enough to allow me to maintain my site. And Doug has been responsive when I run into something I haven't had to do before. But he could be more concise and clear on the instructions he provides. Overall I would recommend Amp Up Marketing for your web design and buildout. I would also suggest before the final go ahead that you clarify any complex aspects of your website and his ability to handle the development as well as setting expectations on his schedule, your involvement level and turnaround times from each of you.
