The hardware they created are sensors used to monitor a wide variety of things for the transport industry. The sensors can monitor speed, acceleration, elevation, breakdown, GPS route coordinates, and then transmit all the data through the cellular network. Our clients can then see all the data points within the centralized application control panel to fully monitor their cargo. They did a lot of initial research and were able to suggest hardware components and sensors that would be the best configurations that would reduce the costs during mass production. They helped us figure out the best components that are reliable, durable and cost effective, so the total hard costs for each finished sensor goes down, and profits go up. They were able to bring the total cost of each unit down by 21%. They were creative while building the prototype sensors, which they were able to do quickly within a couple months. The software they created to run and monitor the sensors uses the latest cutting-edge technology, and connects our industry to the Internet of Things, which is fast, efficient, responsive and very well designed. Neuron helped us developing and launching our first iOS app called In the Know teaching Chinese immigrants conversational English. We gave their team an Adobe XD mock-up with a basic interface, but they had to fill in a lot of blanks. While we gave them some colors to start in our mock-up, the final colors and compositions, as well as the logo, were all their work. For cultural reasons we have to protect our users so that they feel safe about asking questions and with interactions in general. Neuron understood and exceeded our expectation. Additionally they created an explainer video and marketing website to prepare for the product launch. Having a one-minute video that tells the story for us cuts down time tremendously when having to explain our product. It’s been extremely helpful, and everything was on point. During our engagement, I was mostly in Beijing. Time difference and software platforms not acceptable for use in China made things difficult, but they were always accommodating for our weekly online meetings. We hope to work with Neuron again in the near future.
