The project was approached with the audience always front of mind, with every word, image, color, and detail designed to specifically-outlined (and measured) goals. As a data and design nerd, I deeply appreciated their balanced approach of both beautiful design and strategic functionality. After the successful launch of this huge website (for which the SO team went way above and beyond, working with our tiny team, changing timelines, and limited resources), we increased scope to have them manage our SEO and digital advertising, seeing exponential leaps in our performance in both. Single Origin's SEO strategy boosted our organic traffic over 200% and provided us with new, engaging content weekly. They managed to optimize our ROI with paid ads that had a 48% CPA reduction on our previous vendor (and doubled the lead generation per dollar spent). Every dollar spent with them was returned exponentially and was a clear investment in our business. Firsthand experience: We contacted them to explore the possibility of being our marketing agent for our post-crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo Indemand after having concluded 2 successful campaigns on other platforms (Kickstarter included), with over 600+ backers without having any marketing campaign planned. John Skrodenis from Rainfactory contacted us after we submitted our project on their online form, and said he was very interested in our project and for us to arrange a call with him. When we got on a scheduled call, however, he had simply NO CLUE what project we were talking about (obviously, he did not even check- first strike). Secondly, my colleague asked when he'd be able to get back. He promised the same day. Not only he did not do that, he did not even have the decency to send my colleague any further emails even though my colleague tried to follow up again with him- second strike. Lastly he sent me an email a few days later to say "we're still interested in the work you're doing at your organization", asking for us to schedule another call with him. It was good that I didn't waste my time any longer or bother with a reply, because the day after that he sent another email to say that our project basically was just a squirt bottle (we were doing a manual bidet), and that they aren't confident they can be successful. (He could have just said his company is not confident of being successful WITHOUT insulting our project in the same breath). That was basically the last straw, and the last insult that we could take. Take a leaf from my book and do not waste your time with this company.
