Smith.Ai has been one of the best virtual receptionist experiences we have had the pleasure of using. We are renting them 4 stars because of a few factors. 1st) The account management team was hands on in the beginning and continue to provide us updates on our call volume and pricing structure. For Example: Tony , who is our account manager, emails every now and then to discuss if we want to keep on the same pricing. Structure or adjust based on how the call volume is looking and how our industry’s outlook is. That’s so important because by us giving him insight into how our remodeling company’s projected volume from one quarter to the next flows; Tony and the Smith.Ai team is better able to serve us as clients. A true partnership. 2nd, the support staff has never taken longer than 24 hours to respond to messages or feedback. They are very responsive and if there is a bigger issue; it gets addressed. We understand taking on Smith.Ai as a new service , that their will be come adjustments. Especially as they hire and train newer staff. However, the error rate has stayed extremely low. Especially with the ability to type up a document with specific instructions on how to approach different types of callers for us. This has worked out very well for us. 3rd and most important is the cost. When we looked at the overhead of bringing on an employee we had to consider all the things that go into setting that employee up for success. Equipment costs like a phone, computer, monitors ($1200 one time setup). Office space, meaning a space with a desk, internet, and lights for this actually person to conduct business ($200mo additional based on our current sqft). Software and license access ($150mo). Wages ($3750mo). Looking at those numbers and anybody who works with the business financials can see how their is an instant savings when choosing Smith.Ai. They really work hard on selling and delivering an experience of it being like having a Virtual Employee, and that’s exactly what we have experienced. Now, like mentioned previously. There are some growing pains the first few weeks with setup. We felt that there could be better collaboration and training documents for setting up the appointment booking system. For example; we chose Calendly scheduling services that allows Smith.Ai to easily book appointments for our clients. But the Calendly system has features that are locked and you can’t get the experience you need unless you unlock the higher tiers. Also, there are errors from time to time with the newer Receptionist who are learning to apply our instructions. It’s very low. We’d say maybe 1 call out of 9 a day there might be something missing or a need to follow back up with the client. However, taking all that into consideration , we love Smith.Ai’s services and the teams supporting the brand. You can’t go wrong with the cost savings and the upfront time you put in to help build a partnership that works for you and your company. It’s worth it.
