Horrible experience! I am bitterly disappointed The relationship between our company and RH had been long-standing. We had paid RH good money for the service of managing of our Facebook ads over a three-year period, but as our business grew in the US, it became evident that we needed to find a new agency. RH turned spiteful after we gave them 30+ days notice. This review is to give you an idea of what you're getting into before you sign on. When we left, we requested the transfer of our Facebook account to us, we did not want any of their active ads or creative input. Just the dormant account. We knew they managed our ads and that we could access reports through their portal. RH refused our request. We were shocked and never made aware that they would try to keep our Facebook ad account and claim it as theirs “Intellectual Property” especially since we paid over $2 million directly through Facebook ads with our credit card, provided them with content and copy, and paid them to manage OUR ads. They have absolutely no reason to keep our ad account as it is useless to them, it will now sit dormant. We wanted to keep it for the payment history and learnings we gained from the FB account we directly paid for. We DID NOT want to keep any of RH's IP or creative work. Alex refused to hand over our account out of spite. NO exit fees nor the cost of buying it back were mentioned in the contract, but Alex said we could get it back for a fee $68,000. This was an absolute shock to us as NONE of this was mentioned in their contract. Even their definition of “intellectual property” does not cover the dormant Facebook ad account. As Alex continued, he stated "that our primary ad account generated a minimum of $2.47 in sales for every dollar spent." This is actually a poor ROAS of 2.47, which is why we are leaving. If they had taken the time to understand the costs of our business, they would have realised that this was not that profitable. Upon Alex requesting the payout fee he went on to say “let’s face it, our fee would be absorbed within one week of running ads” we found this extremely unprofessional. As a result of how Alex handled this business relationship, we would never recommend them or come back! WARNING: If you are thinking of working with this agency or if you're already a client, Be aware that spite will play a role in your decision to leave.
