I've had the opportunity to work closely with Punchcard on a number of projects over the years, across a wide range of needs. Of course they have the technical skills. Of course they build things and release things. Of course they do so on budget, on time, with the utmost accountability for honest communications. Those are table stakes (sorry if you've not had that same experience with your vendors). What really sets them apart is their ability to listen. It is an artform. Listening to the said, and the unsaid. And then - depending on that, the bravery to suggest something different. Sometimes what we ask for is indeed what we need, and what is built.
