We hired Out Origin to redesign our existing website on the SquareSpace platform, with the goal of updating and refreshing Twilo's overall design, implementing general optimisations to improve user experience, and adding new online products to expand our e-commerce offerings. Although the project is still ongoing, we have already seen notable improvements such as increased aesthetic appeal of the website, which has received positive feedback from our users, improved website speed and functionality, which contributes to a better user experience, and a noticeable increase in visitor engagement and initial sales figures on the new product pages.

Given my past expertise designing mobile apps for both iOS and Android, I looked for a development team that could use a framework to create the app once and deploy it across numerous platforms. Out Origin used a core technology for this project, which included a backend REST API that I created, as well as Docker, Slack, and Swagger. They used Microsoft App Center for distribution. By the end of the week, we had a simple app functioning and ready for my phone. Despite the lack of a user interface and branding, the program functioned properly. Every week or two, we would finish sprints and release new features.
