Hans didn’t accurately identify my equipment then ultimately recycled it. I’d left a cpu with him to recover pictures (my son up to age 10). I did forget it was there for 1-1/2 years but it was July 2020 so lots of crazy stuff them. But, he never contacted me about it all this time. I just contacted him about it. First he said I never left it with him that I must have given it to someone else. Then after I’d produced emails from him that were obviously sent after he’d picked it up out of my car, then he said he’d assumed I’d abandoned it and it’s no longer there. Terrible business practices with heartbreaking results. Not the type of work we always used to get before Hans bought GPP Tech from Leon. It would have been better to just say I’m sorry I screwed up rather than saying he’d assumed I’d abandoned it - kind of think a phone call would have been a better business practice. I would suggest people look for an alternative to GPP Tech for their computer repairs, etc. I know I will never be back.
