We’re a team of smart and hard-working designers, engineers, and strategists who want to work with inspiring people to create the best stuff on the internet.

We believe in putting quality first — before growth. We’ll only grow if we believe it will result in better work. That means we don’t take investment; we have no salespeople; we watch our costs so we can be around awhile; we don’t advertise much, and we try to only work on stuff when we feel like we’re the best fit. We build work and relationships that will stand the test of time. 

Learning and teaching are not an “add-on” here. They are a part of everybody’s core responsibilities. This comes alive in so many ways every month. Clique U sessions, lightning talks, guest speakers, educational stipends, community partnerships, hosting panels, developing curriculum for leading universities, teaching and mentoring at local bootcamps, building apprenticeship programs, speaking at conferences, the list goes on. None of us were “self-taught” -- we learned from somebody, either from a book, blog post, or example code. We fundamentally believe in the obligation of repaying that debt by sharing what we know. For you, this means projects are not just about the end deliverable, you will probably learn something too.

We try to run a simple business where smart people are given tremendous autonomy and are trusted to do what they think is right. We look for people who add to the company instead of fit into it. We want every person here to make us different and better in their own way. To achieve that, we hire full-time and long-term, get daily feedback on workload and happiness and are all committed to making each other’s jobs easier.
