What Makes Us Different?

In 2012, Alloy was founded (then known as ARPR) by a young, tenacious woman who set out to pioneer new concepts and question conventional wisdom long held by agencies. This entrepreneurial beginning permanently rooted our culture in possibility, curiosity and ideas (lots and lots of ideas). Even in our early days, we knew that single-function shops, like traditional PR firms, weren’t fluent enough in other marketing disciplines to measurably impact the bottom line or provide cost effective value. 


We’ve made great progress in our quest to redefine what global tech brands should expect from their agencies by innovating agency models and methodologies. For example, in 2016, we became the first tech PR firm to integrate demand generation into our core capabilities. More recently, in early 2023 we announced that we joined forces with creative technology agency, Narwhal Digital. Like Alloy, Narwhal was also based in Atlanta, female-founded and minority led. This acquisition added creative and technology departments to Alloy’s existing PR and performance marketing departments.


Now, our global team has deep industry expertise that cover all facets of the customer journey, from engaging creative experiences built with innovative technology to full communication strategies backed by measurable performance marketing. Our cross-channel solutions help global innovative brands engage with their buyers, shape public opinion, build lasting influence, create new categories and accelerate growth and market share.


This client work has earned widespread industry recognition, including Technology Agency of the Year and more. Behind it all is a crew of nerds, rebels and creatives. Founded in 2012, Alloy has been called a Best Place to Work (10 times to be exact), but we call ourselves The Uncommon Crew.
