Tricia Akins is the founder of Walker-Stanley Communications. Prior to founding the company in 2011, Tricia held various marketing and communication positions of increasing responsibility in the commercial finance industry, most recently as a VP of Corporate Development for Key Equipment Finance (KEF). 

She received her B.A. from the University of Rochester (NY) and her M.B.A. from Wayne State University (MI). Tricia is actively involved in her community. She is on the board of the Superior Chamber of Commerce and a Superior/Louisville Young Life Committee member. Tricia is a past Business Marketing Association-CO board member, past-president of the Talking Ideas Toastmasters Club, co-founder of Front Range B2B and a past communications and technology volunteer at Monarch High School.
