What did you like best?
John and his team made sure to work closely with us early on to ensure they had a good understanding of our long-term goals. We needed an entire overhaul of our site, not just a new design. We needed a new host, new CMS, new social plug-ins, SEO... the works. The team was fully equipt to make sure we go everything we needed in one place.
What did you like least?
The process takes time, we are an artistic bunch at our design firm so we had high standards, but even if we hadn't been it still takes time and attention to successfully develop a new web presence. It's hard to take people off their current responsibilities to allocate to a project like this. John and his team did a great job working through our frustrations though, they took on a great deal of the recommendations and ensured we were left with a fully functional site and all the information and credentials needed to make our own changes in the future.
Describe your overall experience.
Our experience began with a very thorough initial review of our goals and John's capabilities. We moved into the initial planning phase and then John's team took on a lot of the work after that. We were presented with initial edits and finally a finished product. We had a chance to review the issues we had, have any final edit done, discuss our ongoing responsibilities, how John's team could further develop the site (if needed) and switch over user roles to ensure we had redundancy internally. Overall the experience was positive. If I had to do it again, I'd probably wait until my offseason ("ah doy!") but we all feel a great sense of relief and pride that our new site reflects our brand and makes us more accessible to our clients!
