Focus, Process, and Culture.
Focus: Just SEO (search engine optimization) for small businesses.
Process: Much stronger than other agencies because we just do one thing (SEO) for one group (small businesses). We learned this the hard way. We started as a "digital marketing company." We offered SEO, PPC, Email, Social, and Website Development. Process was impossible to define because each of those areas is too deep. It's impossible as a small agency to be excellent in all areas. So, we chose SEO. As a result, our process is solid. Much more solid than if you selected a generalist agency to satisfy all the checkboxes on a marketing wish list.
Culture: Agencies are businesses largely based on people. The better the people are in the agency, the better work an agency is able to produce. Culture attracts, retains, and develops people. Our culture has led our agency to be voted a Best Place To Work three years in a row. Happy people produce good work and are more fun to work with. So, we look to build the best company and client experience by focusing on the largest influencer: our culture.
That's pretty much it. There's more agencies than coffee shops within a mile radius of our office in Old Town. The only thing that makes us different is what we do, how we do it, and who we do it with. Add all of that up, and we're pretty good at helping small businesses gain more online visibility, generate leads, reduce paid ad costs, and grow in a sustainable way.
