We'll try to ask you really good questions, and we'll listen. You're the expert in your field, and we're the expert in ours. Part of our job is learning how to unearth problems and challenge them so we can find unique solutions to help you become more successful.
RESEARCH MAKES ALL THE DIFFERENCE.
We do research on every project. Every. Project. How can you solve something you don't understand? For small projects, it might just be a couple really great Google searches. For big projects, this work can include poring over your marketing and sales numbers, interviewing your customers, examining website analytics, developing a comparative market analysis, holding focus groups, building customer experience maps, and taking trips to the field.
We also take on Research and Strategy projects for clients and agencies -- often as a precursor to larger, more involved design/development scopes.
WE DON'T HAVE ALL THE ANSWERS.
But that's ok, we have a process. We never walk into a room thinking we know the solution. We'll talk (see point 1), we'll research (see point 2), and we'll follow the process that has led to many successful projects.
WEBSITES (AND DESIGN) ARE WEIRDLY COMPLEX AND WONDERFUL.
We build websites from tiny little one page local stuff (which we love) to really big database driven, ecommerce behemoths (which we also love). They are all vastly different. You have to consider content (the actual words), imagery (photos, graphics, video, etc.), user experience (navigation, layout, button interfaces, page flow, etc.), responsiveness (how it looks on different devices and browsers), search engine optimization (how it is found on Google and the web), how it ties into your other business systems (like accounting, sales, and customer service), what will make a customer actually click the buy button and show up at your door (what puts braces on your kid's teeth), and more. We try to be as holistic as possible at every budget level. It makes a big difference.
