Innovation, Education, Communication and Longevity are the four pillars of our business that I believe makes us different.  Crystal Pyramid Productions is San Diego's longest-standing video production house (619-644-3000). We have seen "giants" come and go for a wide variety of reasons. Their overhead was unsustainable. Their business ethics were poor. They didn't have the talent. As they went the way of dinosaurs, we tucked these valuable lessons into our pocket and continued on. 

With a low overhead we are able to pass the savings on to our clients.  We have continued to learn the technicalities of the video production industry with biannual pilgrimages to the NAB (National Association of Broadcasting) Convention and by maintaining a constant dialogue with thought leaders in our industry. 

Our savvy and seasoned crew all wear various hats: Producer, Director, Camera Operator, Director of Photography, Video Editor, Script Writer, Voice Over, Teleprompter Operator, Sound Mixer, Boom Pole Operator, Gaffer, and the list goes on. We even have a private Studio where we have shot videos for Discovery Channel, History Channel, Proctor & Gamble and many other clients.

We have won many awards and lots of press over the decades for our work.  And some of our work goes way back to the heyday of the 1980's when we produced some of the first educational titles in their genre.  For instance, "Massage For Relaxation" was the world's first instructional massage video (1985). It sold all over the world and was featured in the Publishers Clearing House and highlighted in the Heathrow Airport Gift Shop. "The Great Mountain Biking Video" was the world's first instructional mountain biking video (1987). It featured footage gathered with the first Helmet Cam innovated by Mark Schulze, our CEO.

This kind of innovation has been woven throughout our nearly 40-year career as Video Production professionals. And it's been our pleasure to pass it along to our Broadcast and Corporate clients.
