What did you like best?
One of the best parts about working with Crystal Pix is discovering that they are so much more than a powerhouse in creative content production for video and interactive programs. Their staff is unbelievably warm and thoughtful and they are all consummate professionals. There were many times at shoots and other events that they would be helpful. At our first shoot, their cinematographer helped a woman who had fallen. At our video launch party, the owner rolled up his sleeves and helped our staff break down their display. Even their office manager had a steady presence bearing treats and smiles. It was such a positive experience to align with a company that shares our values of putting people first. The crew at Crystal Pix has a team of thoughtful listeners. They understand the business needs of clients. We came to trust them wholeheartedly with the stories of the people we serve, which included adults with disabilities and the staff who support them.
What did you like least?
The truth is that I was sorry to finish our project with Crystal Pix. After our 360 video / virtual reality experience launched, I wanted to keep going. At least we have established the start of an ongoing partnership. I look forward to the next opportunity to work together.
In all, working with Crystal Pix was one of the highlights of my career. I had searched for three years to find the right partner to help us share stories using 360 video and virtual reality. The Crystal Pix team kept us organized. They always reached beyond our original concepts, bringing along artistry, emotion and beautiful cinematography. They made an impression on everyone they came across. I’ve been a part of video projects that didn’t go well, as in lighting and sound were off; the subjects were portrayed in a way that didn’t make them feel confident; perhaps the script didn’t feel exactly like us. None of those issues ever emerged during our time with Crystal Pix. They are powerful storytellers with a passion for the big picture.
