The Accelerated Mobile Pages project that Google started in 2015 has finally begun to gain momentum.

Get ahead of the curve. With the Mobile-First Index that Google rolled out in July 2018 and the slow-page-load-speed negative ranking factor algorithm update that came out in March 2018, the game changed.

No longer is simply having a mobile-responsive website sufficient. If the web-page loads slowly (if it takes more than 7 seconds to load), it will get hammered by the competition.

"The average time it takes to fully load a mobile landing page is 22 seconds, according to a new analysis. Yet 53% of mobile site visitors leave a page that takes longer than three seconds to load. That's a big problem."

At Austintatious Design we believe that if Google loves AMP, then we do to!

Every business hoping to demonstrate professionality, authority and cutting-edge thinking in their market needs to have their website fully AMPed.

Who doesn't want their website to load virtually instantly? Any AMP validated web page  that is indexed by Google has the opportunity to appear in Google's AMP carousel on the first page of the SERPs at the top of mobile search results (sometimes pages ahead of their 'normal' organic result page).

Once clicked, the AMPed page is served directly from a cached version housed on Google's servers yielding near-instantaneous loading... or you could go with the other guys and have your site load in the 10 to 30 seconds that they'll convince you is standard and somehow OK these days.

BTW - a high bounce rate due to slow loading pages could cost your business millions in lost potential revenue.
