As the Executive decision maker for a small business in Denver, I've found that outsourcing SEO duties is imperative, especially when you have made significant changes to your online presence. Social SEO, formerly Pikes Peak SEO has been fantastic to work with. We have seen growth, and significant increases in organic traffic for most of the time we've used Social SEO. We've had several contacts there and all have been very professional. My only reason for not leaving five stars is that in our three or so years of service, we've had four different contacts working on our account. Don't get me wrong, the service is still worth it, and all of the Account Managers have been great, but it is hard to start over with a new contact and explain your business needs, website details, etc to a new person every six months to a year. There was a period of time (with one Account Manager) that nothing really seemed to be happening in terms of our website and feedback. In all honesty, I think that particular contact, though she was always very friendly and professional on the phone, was just too busy to take the time to do a lot with our account. I can tell that Social SEO is growing, as they have movement internally with their staff and have even promoted one of our Account Managers (which is why we no longer work with her). They are obviously doing something right. Our current AM is excellent so far--very responsive, and pays attention to details. Listen people, you're never going to find a perfect SEO vendor, but if you want to gain in organic traffic, conversions, and want a team of people who actually know what they are doing, give these guys a try!

When the time came to make a serious investment in our own web-based inventory search platform, we did some serious research. Our functionality requirements were lengthy and complex. Over a span of several months, we interviewed web design and development companies from across the Country (Chicago to NYC). Although every prospective vendor demonstrated a comprehensive portfolio of accomplishments, it was Michael Hernandez at Rocket Marketing & Design who stood out from the rest. They handled the entire "Go Live" launch and mitigated every technical issue along the way. I hired Kobe to write content for, redesign, and redevelop our ecommerce website. Kobe provided one, initial meeting with a few people who I did not work with again. Work was begun on the project by the content writer, who began describing the design in his content, which was posted page by page on Monday.com, which does not have revision or reviewing functionality. Kobe refused to begin the project with (industry-standard) wireframes, which would have provided a simple understanding of the two types of pages and messaging placement to both my team and theirs. Kobe next provided designs, via pdfs in email (i.e. no easy reviewing capability), that looked like simple template websites with no brand feel, according to many laypersons and professional web designers (and me too of course). At this point, with less than half of the work done, I cancelled the project. Kobe unethically did not refund money for the half of the project that was unfinished.

I own an online Pet Store and they’ve done a fantastic job with our site and the Amazon advertising portion. We’ve been incredibly profitable and are seeing a significant return. We’ve had 3 advertising providers in the past and I can say that our experience was very different with this firm. Not only have they provided us with results but they’ve been very attentive and responsive with our account. I feel like that’s the differentiator and what’s made us successful. I conducted extensive due diligence on every company I spoke with (outlined below) to ensure I made the best decision. My first meeting was with Julie, whose immense knowledge of SEO immediately stood out. I spent about an hour asking her detailed questions, followed by a 30-minute meeting with the Google Ads team. I then scheduled another 1.5-hour meeting with Julie to dive deeper into SEO strategies. Finally, I met with the development team. Based on these interactions, I decided to partner with Agency Jet for SEO services, though I opted not to use them for Google Ads. My Due Diligence Process: 1.Reviews •I analyzed Google Reviews and Glassdoor feedback (to understand the work environment from employees’ perspectives). •Most importantly, I relied on Clutch.co reviews, as they conduct in-depth, 30-minute interviews with customers for a more comprehensive evaluation. 2.Online Presence •Since my goal was to enhance my online visibility, I prioritized companies with a strong digital presence. •I evaluated their monthly organic traffic and analyzed the keywords they ranked for to gauge their expertise. 3.Clients’ Organic Traffic •Using SEMrush (a tool that allows 10 free searches per day per account), I reviewed their clients’ webpages to track organic search performance. •This revealed valuable insights, such as monthly traffic, and how many keywords ranked in positions 1–3, 4–10, and beyond. •This method exposed several questionable companies, making it an essential step in my process. 4.Interviews •I prepared challenging questions, including test questions for which I already knew the answers. •This allowed me to assess their transparency and trustworthiness based on the accuracy of their responses. To be clear I have not yet started work with them. I will be updating this review as time goes on.

Several years ago I decided that I needed some assistance in improving my position for Google® searches seeking the services my small business provides from Houston, TX. A gentleman with an accent convinced me that 411 Locals (411) could make it happen. Much to my wife’s chagrin, I paid ‘three-figures’ monthly (in advance – auto payment). I did see some improvement to Page One and the number of ‘clicks’ also improved. More recently, however, my visitor count to my website plateaued. After a few months I decided to cancel services with 411 via telephone, and email replies to those at 411 trying to retain my account. Quickly, I was barraged with calls from 411 personnel and several emails and each time I told them I cancelled their service and would appreciate no further contact about how “great we are.” The final (I hope) phone call came yesterday afternoon, March 20, 2019, and I couldn’t have made my decision more clearly. Later, an email came that said, in part, “You are also acknowledging the following services were provided by 411 Locals and will be eliminated as requested: • Company profile in Google and Google + • Domain name and Professional Marketing Website • YouTube Marketing Video • Company profile from over 150 of the leading online directories.” So, what you are saying is that all that I’ve paid for over the years, 411 is going to proactively remove? I PAID FOR THOSE SERVICES! Sure enough, within 24 hours my YouTube video was gone from my website and I’ve yet to discover what else they may have done. I have legal proceedings beginning. At some point, for some reason, everyone will cancel, and 411 is happy to remove anything, and everything related from one’s website for which I paid almost $2,000 annually?! Look at their Home Page and see the client reviews. It’s been almost two years without a comment (as of this writing)! No one is motivated to leave a positive review, or are there none? Negative reviews have been read, but never posted? I would leave zero ‘stars’ if possible! - BWC
