Lemonade Day: The 2020 Reviews For A Cause Recipient
How Does Reviews for a Cause (RFC) Help Lemonade Day?
What is Lemonade Day?
Lemonade Day is a fun, experiential program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their very own business—a lemonade stand. Each year, in participating cities, youth have the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship by setting up their business during their city’s community-wide Lemonade Day.
What do Children Learn with Lemonade Day?
Twelve-year-old entrepreneurs Matthias Ulch and Elijah Haverkost developed a mighty strong business strategy that turned these best friends into business partners. Just like in the business world, they learned to recognize each other’s strengths to help them succeed as entrepreneurs.
I did lemonade day because since I was six years old, business has been a part of who I am. Two years ago I started a lemon cookie business, and as it hit off it took over my stand. I went from 120 dozen the first year to over 250 the next. So, instead of doing lemonade day next year, I have chosen to give it to my favorite little business girl—Addison, and am going to pursue my cookie business.
