UpCity is thrilled to announce the 2022 National and Local UpCity Excellence winners in the U.S., Canada, and U.K.!
Every year, we honor the B2B service providers that are the best of the best, as measured by their UpCity Recommendability Rating. The UpCity Recommendability Rating is an assessment of how recommendable a service provider is in comparison to other service providers. It is derived from a variety of data points that are designed to help business owners find a partner that is the best fit for them, and one they can trust.
In total, 150 providers in the United States, Canada, and the U.K. met or exceeded the qualifying rating to earn a National Excellence Award, the highest honor UpCity gives out over the course of the year. Additionally, there are 562 Local Excellence winners in and around the major metropolitan areas of the U.S. and Canada.
UpCity Reviews For A Cause
UpCity also runs a Reviews for a Cause campaign each year leading up to the Excellence Awards that benefit charities. For every review collected during the 2022 awards period (January through March), UpCity contributed $5 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Thanks to our amazing partners and reviewers, UpCity contributed $10,290 toward the research of CF from the Excellence Awards Reviews for a Cause campaign this year.
Cystic fibrosis is a progressive, genetic disease that causes long-lasting lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. It affects people of every racial and ethnic group, and more than 30,000 children and adults in the United States alone are currently living with the disease. Data shows that individuals in developed nations born between 2015 and 2019 are predicted to live up to 46-years old (up more than 20 years since the 1980s). However, that prediction for those in developing countries can be as low as 15.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation works to fund and advance research that leads to better treatment and ultimately a cure.
