Background on Scoop.it
Scoop.it is a popular recommendation and discovery site for your business. This website site allows users to discover, categorize, and share useful content and information. It is a good source to accumulate relevant and quality links to a website. Recommending relevant information to people via Scoop.it is a great way to promote yourself online and increase your visibility. We’ll provide some opportunities to promote some of your own information in later courses.
Step 1. Start at Scoop.it.
Step 2. Go to the top right-hand side of the homepage or the middle of the page and click “Join Free.”
Step 3. You can sign up using Facebook, Twitter, or an account separate from the two. For the purposes of this post, we’re going to create a new account without your social media logins (although you can log in with them if you so choose). Hit “I don’t have a Facebook or a Twitter account.”
Step 4. Enter your Full Name, Email, Password, etc. You can also include a Profile Picture of yourself. Once you’ve entered all the fields, click “Sign Up.”
Step 5. You are then asked to confirm your email address with Scoop.it. Head into your inbox and click the confirmation link to verify your address. Click the link to continue.
Step 7. Congratulations! You’ve successfully created your Scoop.it account!
