Question One: Could you provide more information about LinkedIn’s publisher platform news?

Our Response: Last week, LinkedIn announced it is opening up its publisher platform to all members. Previously, only Influencers were able to submit content to the Publishing Platform. Now, all users are able to apply for their content to be published.

What does this exciting update mean for your business? LinkedIn is putting more value into their content and experts. In addition, LinkedIn’s publisher platform now encourages more readers and more writers. If your content gets into the mix here, you will be able to provide your knowledge, get the word out about your brand, and provide more authority. Question Two:  If my company has a P.O. Box, am I still able to apply for a listing in Yahoo!’s Local Listings?

Our Response: Currently, you are not able to maintain a free or paid Yahoo! Local Listing if your business does not maintain a physical address. Click for more information on creating a Yahoo! listing for your business. Google also has the same policy for P.O. Boxes. You will need to have a physical location for your business in order to create a local listing. Exceptions are listed here.
