Question One: Lately I’ve been noticing the posts on my Facebook page haven’t been reaching as many people as they did before. Is there a reason for this?
Our Response: You aren’t the first one to talk notice. To as far back as last year, marketers have realized the content shared across Facebook has suddenly drop in its reach potential.
According to Facebook, the reason for this is competition within the news feed is increasing significantly. The only solution, it seems, is to partake in Facebook’s paid advertising platform. These aren’t very expensive for a regular small business and could prove useful if social media is a top contributing factor in your sales process.
Also, keep in mind that adding more likes to your Page allows you to attain better auction prices for paid ads, and ads become more effective.

Question Two: Over time, the number of backlinks that website graders have reported on my site has decreased. This shouldn’t be happening.
Our Response: The number of backlinks can certainly change over time. The links you acquired may no longer be of value or the search engines may rank them differently based on updated criteria.
The important thing here is that you must continue to build valuable backlinks to your site. Keep producing high quality content. Guest post on relevant authority sites. Don’t expect your backlinks to stay as they are if you aren’t active on the web.
