Question One: How can inbound marketing help sell my ecommerce products?
Our Response: Very simply, it can help bring more traffic to your store. With a powerful brand and compelling message that can keep people captivated, you’ll have a brilliant recipe for more sales. However, you don’t want to be waiting for conversions.
This is one of the number one reasons ecommerce owners are dissatisfied with their sites. The truth is, traffic is only half of the equation. You also have to be a salesperson and pitch directly to your audience. Test how they respond to your pitch. Do they react to your brand’s story as if they’ve heard it all before, or do they grow intrigued and ask questions?
Once they’ve asked you to explain, you know they’re hooked.
The power in ecommerce is that you have complete control over your results; a combination of inbound marketing (content, SEO) and outbound (messaging users in forums, emailing, social media marketing) will get you there.
But are you willing to put in the hours and invest in understanding your ideal customer? The answer to this will determine your level of success.
