Question One: I want to get more search traffic this year. How do I get a head start in 2015?

Our Response: Welcome to the new year! One of the best things you can do for your search this year is to write out the exact traffic levels you want for your site. Next, start writing out where your content, social media, and email are lacking or overdoing it.

Are you releasing too many emails? Too many posts? Not enough content? Not enough social media updates? List these out as improvements you want to make.

Then, start brainstorming the best keywords for your website. Take as long as you need to and don’t judge yourself for picking ones that might not be the best fit. Once complete, create a calendar that puts all of your content, social, and search activities all in one page.

Question Two: Can you give us a rundown on Facebook’s latest updates to its Business Pages?

Our Response: The updates are actually very minimal, but hugely impactful. Facebook has added a “call-to-action” option on the page, as well as allowing business owners to track clicks to the button.
