Question 1: When is the best time to send a newsletter for my business?

Our Response: Much debate and detailed research has circulated around this throughout the past couple years. The email send out day and time definitely effects open rates, so it is important to examine closely. MailChimp reports emails are more likely to be opened after 12pm, and the top range is between 2pm and 5pm. Despite how many findings you read, above all our top recommendation is to test out various times on your own.

You will never know the best timeframe unless you try different ones (11am vs 1pm, etc). In addition, each industry and business may vary so don’t always rely on what another person tells you. These tests force you to be pro-active with your content and to enforce a consistent newsletter schedule for your business. You can’t go wrong with this strategy!

Question 2: My friend told me Graph Search calculates your check-ins. Is this true?

Our Response: Facebook’s Graph Search is, in fact, more localized and robust. Announced at the end of last month, the Graph Search now includes searches for check-ins, comments, posts, and status updates. The release is rolling out throughout the next month or so.

Question 3: We have not had access to our website since earlier this year, and it’s actually been taken down at this point. We’re being blocked from the site. What do we do?

Our Response: We understand how frustrating this situation can be. Above all, it’s important to ensure you have control of your domain name. If you cannot get into the website to edit it, be sure to contact your hosting provider or webmaster to try to gain access. Once you get into the site, you may want to think about finding new web help as well as a complete redesign.
