Question 1: How can I schedule a post ahead of time directly in Facebook?
Our Response: It is quite simple for page admins to compile a post ahead of time directly on their Facebook business page, and schedule it to be sent out a later time.
The custom scheduling process takes a couple steps to complete: When you create a Facebook update as you normally would, click the clock icon at the bottom of the window. Select the specific date and time to publish the post. Then, hit the Schedule button. You will receive a confirmation message that the post was scheduled successfully.Businesses can schedule Facebook page posts ahead of time.
Admins can schedule updates on their mobile devices as well. Important note: Whether you create the post on your computer or phone, choosing a date or time in the past will publish the post immediately.
If you don’t want to update your Facebook statuses directly in the app itself, there’s plenty of other options! Many social media marketing tools offer scheduling capabilities, such as Buffer and HootSuite. Using these management tools, brands can send out statuses at the same or different scheduled times for Facebook, Google+, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
Question 2: My website’s Bing ranking has recently gone up to 100+. Why could this be?
Our Response: It’s important to note that keyword ranking fluctuations are completely normal to see over time. For example, engines are continuously updating their search results algorithms. Since these fluctuations are to be expected, tracking keyword ranking trends throughout a longer period of time is recommended. It’s also important to continue to optimize your website and create new, valuable links on a regular basis.
In addition, we noticed that your title tags and body tags are not inserted in your homepage as of yet. This essential step provides a summary of the pages to your users and engines (both Google and Bing). In addition, adding and optimizing title tags ensures the website will get found and listed, which helps improve your SERP rankings.
Question 3: We are growing our website and expect to be in many more markets. Due to our national approach and no physical local address, we are having a hard time gearing our inbound marketing efforts around local links. Any thoughts on how to best manage this issue?
Our Response: UpCity members can read the answer to many other SEO inquiries in the UpCity Ask the Expert Help Center. Members are encouraged to ask their own online marketing questions for their business, and our inbound marketing experts are on call to respond to all those questions.
